This influences on the efficiency of attorney’s work greatly, so nowadays lawyers tend to use various technologies, such as electronic filing, voice-recognition technology or videoconferencing. All this helps to optimize the work process, it makes it more effective.
And now some facts describing schedules and usual environment of attorneys’ activities. Lawyers and attorneys conduct the greatest part of their work in offices, law libraries, and courtrooms. Sometimes they have to visit their clients’ homes or places of business. They come to hospitals or prisons if it is important for the case. Sometimes they have to travel, to attend meetings for achieving some sort of information, gather and study evidences, appear before courts and legislative bodies or other authorities. As for the work schedules of lawyers they depend on the fact whether an attorney is salaried or private. Salaried lawyers as usual work on structured schedules. Private lawyers may work irregular hours. Those lawyers, who work full time, about 37 per cent of them, work 50 hours or more per week.
